Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 01, 2026 Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Heterodox LLC ("Pixsie," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on pixsie.app and the related services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our [Privacy Policy], which describes how we handle personal information more generally.

By using the Service, you agree to the use of cookies as described here. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it before setting them.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies, such as browser local storage, that work in a similar way. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.

2. The cookies we use

Pixsie is built to use as few cookies as possible. Cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Service are always active. With your consent, we also use a small number of analytics and advertising cookies to understand how the Service is used and to measure the performance of our advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money, and you can decline the non-essential cookies (see Section 5).

Strictly necessary cookies. These are required to run the Service and cannot be turned off through our system. They do things like keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and protect against fraudulent requests. Without them, parts of the Service will not function.

Analytics and advertising cookies (set only with your consent). When you accept cookies, we load third-party tools that help us measure usage and the performance of our advertising. These are not set until you accept; if you decline, only the strictly necessary cookies above are used.

The cookie names, owners, and durations above are representative. Confirm the exact set in use before publishing this Policy.

3. Payment cookies

When you pay the one-time event fee, our payment processor, [Stripe], may set its own cookies to detect and prevent fraud and to process your payment securely. These are necessary for checkout to work. Their use is governed by the processor's own privacy and cookie practices.

4. Your choices about non-essential cookies

We set analytics and advertising cookies only after you accept them. Until you accept — and if you decline — we set only the strictly necessary cookies described above.

We do not:

  • Set advertising or analytics cookies without your consent.
  • Sell your personal information for money.
  • Use the photos or videos you upload to target advertising.

Our advertising cookies (including the Meta Pixel) share limited event data, such as pages viewed and actions taken on the Service, with our advertising partners so we can measure and improve our ads. See our [Privacy Policy] for details. If we change these practices, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent again where required.

5. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. You can usually find these controls in the browser's privacy or security menu. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Service to stop working, including signing in and completing payment.

You can withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time by declining the cookie banner, or by clearing this site's data in your browser — which removes the stored consent and re-shows the banner on your next visit. Declining or withdrawing consent stops analytics and advertising cookies from loading.

Many browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal or support the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC and comparable signals as an opt-out of non-essential cookies where applicable law requires.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we change the cookies we use. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
